Last week, I read a great story where the author explained the difference between a democracy and an authoritarian regime perfectly. The difference was the focus. While in democratic countries, the focus is on people and their needs, in authoritative regimes, people serve the regime.
That is a nice parallel to company culture. Isn’t it?
Does your company support talent and create an environment where it is natural to grab the opportunity, or are you put into the system to do your part?
